Today, out of no where, Mr Raymond called out for a meeting. It was about the MBS campfire on 21 June. He call only the few of us for the meeting.
We were waiting for him during lunch. He was really late. I was wondering if i should return to class as I thought the meeting is cancel, but later on it wasn’t. So anyway, as usual like ducklings we follow him into the workshop for a short briefing. He told us the reason why he was late, and one word he said to all of us that make me proud of being a scout.
He said to all of us “You are the best among the best of 18 Georgetown troop (18 Georgetown = troop name) . You are the ones who will hold up the name of SSP scouts if you all work hard.” I feel this words actually bring up my spirit, as Mr Raymond is not a person who actually praise people for the fun of it. When he say a word of thanks, or even praises, its much better then being a teachers pet who keep praising them.
He continue telling us he cannot 100% gurente we get the best, but he can make us the best if we wanted to. He want us to go for the competition, but in return we were to

Meeting was short. We went back to class pretty early. But his words keep inside my mind as a reminder. In short, he gave me not only confident in scouts but also confident in my everyday life.
Its as if a new spirit has float into my soul
